Welcome to Whippletree BnB. Our names are Shelly and John. We built Whippletree a few years ago to share our passion for hospitality. I have worked in the hotels and restaurant industry for many years while John has worked in property valuation. With 35years in hospitality management coupled with John's knowledge of properties, We like to think that every detail has been considered to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible.
At Whippletree, We have 3 rooms to choose from, each has a spa like feel with a private ensuite.
The Loft above the garage has a private entrance with all of the comforts of home. This private oasis with approx. 500 SF features a kitchenette, a large rain head feature in the glass enclosed shower, a queen size bed with luxurious linen and a futon which converts to a full size bed . We offer satellite t.v. with hundreds of channels, netflix, and prime, to ensure premium entertainment for an enjoyable getaway. The loft has a gorgeous view of the neighbouring vineyard to make your visit to wine country picturesque and perfect!
Nature lovers and bird watchers will appreciate, Tranquility and Serenity. These two rooms on our upper floor feature a large balcony overlooking the conservation area and share a well stocked kitchenette. Each room has their own spa like ensuite with glass enclosed shower, soaker tub and wardrobe style closet for all of your apparel. Large glass patio doors let you out to the balcony and outdoor recliners for maximum relaxation while enjoying the abundance of wildlife on the waterway. Our local bald eagle , great blue herons, and egrets, are some of the many different birds who frequent the conservation area. We often see turtles, loads of fish, and even Benson, the groundhog who adopted us. Whippletree house is an amazing place that makes you think of Northern Ontario, yet you are walking distance to multiple wineries! We very much look forward to welcoming you into our home and hosting your stay here in Niagara on the Lake.
